Touching the River of Life

When we lose touch with the River of Life or stream of energy that underlies all of creation, we lose touch with our vitality, and depression, fatigue and illness can result.

Having experienced chronic fatigue syndrome for many years, I know this to be true for me. With it’s multitude of puzzling symptoms, fluctuating energy levels and moods, the task has been to find ways to restore rhythm, life and energy.

I have found healing through art and dance, both being activities where I can let go of the small “me” and  fall into the River of Life- where joy, creation and freedom can be expressed. I become larger than the illness that has visited me, with its limitations and conditions.
